ABOUT THE CHEF
Chef Cris Ravarré grew up in New Orleans, surrounded by a family of incredible home cooks and strong women who showed their love through food. The kitchen was where people gathered, stories were shared, and care was put on the table. It’s where Cris first learned to cook, and where her relationship with food began.
She went on to spend more than a decade building her career in professional kitchens, including years working alongside chefs in New Orleans’ French Quarter. Her experience has taken her from intimate private dinners to large-scale hospitality, most recently serving as Banquet Chef at Austin’s South Congress Hotel, where she led culinary teams and executed events for more than 500 guests. Along the way, Cris also built her own private-chef business, creating custom menus and events with an emphasis on fresh ingredients, thoughtful sourcing, and food that never sacrifices flavor.
Now based in Northern California, Cris is bringing that experience into Cuzzo’s Table, her new personal chef and catering business. Her cooking is rooted in the warmth and generosity of New Orleans, shaped by years in restaurant and hospitality kitchens, and driven by a simple idea: great food should make people feel taken care of.
From intimate dinners at home to larger celebrations, Cuzzo’s Table creates meals that feel personal, generous, and made for the people gathered around them.
Cris’ work has also been featured by HGTV and Bon Appétit.
